The Investment Analyst will support business development efforts for First Hospitality’s hotel portfolio, focusing on both select and full-service properties across the U.S. This role requires a solid foundation in real estate finance, coupled with a strong drive to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will thrive in an organized environment, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. This role reports to senior leadership and plays a key role in evaluating, supporting, and expanding First Hospitality’s investment pipeline. Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Additional compensation

Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities

Investment Process Support: Assist in all phases of the business development pipeline, from initial due diligence to closing, ensuring smooth transaction processes. Underwriting & Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth underwriting analyses for acquisitions, developments, and management change opportunities. Investment Package Preparation: Develop detailed investment packages and pitch decks for presentation to capital partners. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research on market dynamics, trends, and key factors influencing the hospitality sector to support deal sourcing and investment recommendations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across finance, operations, and external partners to ensure alignment with business development strategies and goals. Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a related field. 1-3 years in real estate finance, ideally with exposure to hospitality or closely related sectors. Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial analysis and modeling, with proven experience constructing and interpreting complex financial models in Excel. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Integrity & Confidentiality: Demonstrated commitment to upholding high standards of honesty, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to organization and prioritization, with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proactivity & Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying solutions and improving processes. Additional Preferred Qualifications
