Technical Project Manager 3 (JP3083) at COMPA Industries is seeking qualified candidates for a Technical Project Manager 3 position at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM. Salary: $82 - $88/hr Location: Los Alamos, NM (Hybrid) Citizenship: US citizenship Required Clearance: Ability to acquire a Q Clearance Mandatory Experience Requirement – Read Before Applying Candidates must meet all of the following qualifications to be considered: Prior experience managing large-scale DOE 413.3B projects involving nuclear infrastructure or environmental restoration. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Control Account Manager (CAM) Level 1 certification. U.S. Citizenship (required for Q clearance) Applicants who do not meet these mandatory criteria will not be considered. Impact

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in advancing national security objectives by leading complex, multidisciplinary technical and operational projects at the Laboratory. Your work will directly support mission readiness and infrastructure enhancement for key DOE programs such as the Plutonium Pit Production Project. You will shape strategic outcomes, mitigate risk, and ensure technical and compliance excellence in one of the nation’s most demanding environments. Responsibilities And Duties

Lead the Constructability Readiness Organization (CRO) to integrate engineering, construction, and project controls. Oversee project execution readiness and performance improvement for the Plutonium Pit Production Project. Ensure compliance with DOE Order 413.3B, from planning through closeout. Define technical requirements and project deliverables to meet program goals. Implement project tracking, performance analysis, and corrective action processes. Provide technical oversight and contribute to policy and procedural development. Conduct management assessments, causal analyses, and performance trending. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including DOE representatives and LANL leadership. Prepare and deliver briefings, reports, and communications for all levels of management. Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated success managing large DOE nuclear infrastructure or 413.3B construction projects. PMP certification. CAM Level 1 certification. Proven expertise in managing project scope, risk, budget, and schedule. Strong leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills. Desired Skills

Deep familiarity with performance tracking systems and integrated project controls. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience supporting mission-driven technical environments. Education and Experience Requirements
