Industry Construction Type Privately Held About the Role We are seeking an experienced Interim CFO who can provide innovative financial leadership and operational oversight. In this key role, you will be responsible for directing all financial and job cost accounting functions, guiding budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, as well as ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with industry standards. You will also play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners, managing risk across insurance and employee benefit programs, and overseeing IT systems in collaboration with an outside service provider. We need a hands-on leader with a successful track record who can quickly assess our organizational needs and implement effective strategies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred). A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, especially within heavy civil construction, infrastructure, or related industries. Demonstrated success in mid-sized companies is essential. Experience with specific accounting and estimating software preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills are a must. Ability to partner cross-functionally with executives and project teams. The contract for this position is expected to last 4-6 months, and the role requires onsite presence for a significant portion of the week.
