Financial Accountant with SAP BusinessOne Experience | CRAFT GROUP

Craft Group is looking to hire a full time financial accountant specialist with SAP BusinessOne experience. We are searching for a creative, organized, and passionate individual who can help us with our accounting tasks as we migrate to SAP. The mission of Accounting and Financial Reporting is to serve as the custodian of the general ledger, related accounting transactions, reporting applications, and data warehouse tables. Provide timely, comprehensive, and accurate financial reports and analysis (AP/AR), and maintain a system of internal accounting controls to safeguard the financial well-being of Craft Group.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs specific Accounts Payable/Receivable accounting activities through the input of accounting transactions and the monitoring, coordinating, and summarizing of accounting results.
Calculates and prepares monthly Accounts Payable/Receivable accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, and metrics.
Supports month-end close processes.
Determines propriety of Accounts Payable/Receivable accounting entries associated with projects, accounts, and trial balances in accordance with financial policies, practices, and procedures.
Supports government and financial audits.
Contributes to and ensures the accuracy of accounting data, transactions, and reports.
Maintains an awareness of the financial activities within the assigned areas of responsibility to ensure smooth operations and compliance with GAAP.
Applies general knowledge of accounting/financial policies and procedures when responding to specific questions and non-routine problem resolution.
Maintains strict confidentiality of all information.
Ensures accounting files and records are accurate.
Utilizes MS Office Suite, SAP, and other applications.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related discipline and three or more years of progressive experience in accounting with a bachelor’s degree, or at least one year of experience with a master’s degree. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Experience working in Accounts Payable/Receivables is strongly preferred.
SAP experience is required.
Experience working in a manufacturing company environment is strongly preferred.
Must have demonstrated ability to apply concepts and principles of accounting to develop solutions to a variety of problems along with computer literacy and knowledge of operations and applications pertinent to the field.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities that enable an effective interface with different company functions.
Must be customer service-focused.
Able to work extended hours as required.

Inventory/stock management and reporting and analysis
Budgeting and forecasting reports and analysis
Product profitability & landed cost reports and pricing evaluation and analysis
Customer profitability report and analysis
Cashflow analysis and report
AR / AP Report
Return on Assets

Metrics & Reporting Days to Complete Monthly Close: Close Books on the last day of the month on time. Providing reports within 2 days after closing.
Financial Reporting: Provide the following reporting metrics at the end of each month:
AP
AR
Cash Conversion Cycle
Bad Debt to Sales Ratio
P&L Efficiency
