A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a .5 FTE position at an elementary school in San Francisco, CA, for the full school year. This in-person contract role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students within a supportive educational environment.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering speech therapy to young learners. Collaboration with educators and parents is essential to ensure effective communication and progress monitoring. Experience with pediatric populations and familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology practices are highly valued. Candidates who are certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), including those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to licensed SLPs rather than Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs); however, supervision for an SLPA can be discussed if needed.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, ideally within a school setting
Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families
Comfort with in-person service delivery
Clinical Fellowship Year candidates are welcome to apply
Teletherapy experience is a plus, though this role is primarily in person
