About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources and Workforce Strategy to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all HR functions, with a focus on talent acquisition, engagement, professional development, and employee relations. This role requires a strategic partner who can drive HR initiatives that promote a culture of excellence, inclusion, and engagement. Key responsibilities include ensuring effective talent acquisition strategies, directing professional development programs, and championing a workplace culture that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. The VP will also be tasked with overseeing employee engagement strategies and partnering with senior leadership in the strategic planning and execution of long-term workforce initiatives. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree and HR credentials strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive leadership experience in HR management is required, with a proven track record in leading HR initiatives in complex organizations. Expertise in various HR domains, including labor relations, compliance, and professional development, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, as well as a demonstrated ability to design and execute organization-wide initiatives that drive measurable outcomes. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills are a must. Experience in nonprofit or healthcare/human services settings is also preferred.
