This role is pivotal in overseeing and directing financial matters, investments, and information systems, working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure financial operations align with the organization's mission of community strengthening through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The successful candidate will be tasked with monitoring monthly financial operations, preparing detailed analyses and reports, and providing insightful guidance to executive and operational staff. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in securing and allocating resources to achieve strategic objectives, developing and maintaining robust internal control systems, and leading efforts to modify or redesign business models as needed. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, with an MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and fiscal management is required, preferably within voluntary or nonprofit organizations. The candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of general business matters, including budget development, financial reporting, GAAP, cash management, and compliance with nonprofit laws and regulations. Experience in managing and developing a strong team, alongside a commitment to diversity, inclusion, access, and equity, is essential. Furthermore, the Executive Vice President of Finance should have experience with investment management and asset allocation, and the capacity to engage effectively with various stakeholders, from the Board of Directors to direct staff.
