Position Overview: We are working with a Dallas-based
real estate investment and asset management firm
specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of commercial and multifamily properties throughout Texas and the broader Southwest. They are seeking an experienced
Transactional Real Estate Attorney
to join their legal team.
Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and related transactional materials. Oversee due diligence processes, including title, survey, and environmental review. Manage closings for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Advise the company on structuring and executing complex real estate and joint venture transactions. Coordinate with outside counsel, brokers, lenders, and other third parties. Provide legal support on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management matters as needed.
Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; active Texas Bar membership required. 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions at a reputable law firm or in-house environment. Deep understanding of real estate finance, asset management, title, leasing, and development matters.
