Key Responsibilities:
Assemble truck bodies, trailers, or metal components according to specifications, drawings, or supervisor instructions.
Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fit, bolt, and align parts.
Install hydraulics, electrical wiring, lights, and mechanical systems as required.
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Follow safety guidelines and report any equipment or material issues to supervisors.
Work closely with welders, fabricators, and painters to complete production orders.
Assist in loading/unloading materials and moving finished assemblies as needed.
Qualifications:
1–3 years
of experience in mechanical, truck, or equipment assembly (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or schematics.
Skilled with basic hand tools, drills, impact guns, grinders, and measuring instruments.
Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines.
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
Preferred Experience:
Truck or trailer assembly background.
Familiarity with 12V wiring, hydraulic hose routing, or metal fitting.
Experience using torque wrenches, rivet guns, and air tools.
