The

Finance & Operations Manager

is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, and operational logistics functions for the company. This hybrid position ensures financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment between the field, logistics, and executive leadership teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager with strong accounting expertise and a solid understanding of the oilfield services business model.

Qualifications: Qualifications

Accounting & Finance (60%)

Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.

Manage month-end and year-end close processes, financial statements, and reconciliations.

Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and management reports for the CEO and leadership team.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies.

Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and banks.

Oversee cash flow management and capital expenditure tracking.

Maintain cost controls for equipment, materials, and field operations.

Operations & Logistics (40%)

Supervise the logistics and supply chain team responsible for equipment, parts, and materials used in field operations.

Optimize inventory levels and ensure timely procurement and distribution to job sites.

Oversee vendor relationships, purchasing processes, and contract compliance.

Collaborate with field operations and project managers to improve scheduling, delivery, and resource allocation.

Implement and monitor operational KPIs to drive efficiency and cost reduction.

Additional Information

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in an operational or management capacity.

Experience in the

oilfield services, energy, or industrial services

sector highly preferred.

Strong understanding of cost accounting, job costing, and project-based financial reporting.

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and Excel.

Proven leadership ability to manage teams across accounting and logistics functions.

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
