About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Software Engineering Leader to provide strategic and operational leadership for all software engineering teams and enterprise architects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the innovation, scalability, and delivery excellence of modern retail technology platforms that support omnichannel experiences and enterprise growth. This role involves defining and executing software engineering and enterprise architecture strategies, leading and developing high-performing organizations, and establishing engineering standards and practices to ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions. The SVP will also guide enterprise architecture initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, and champion continuous delivery and DevOps practices. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 7 years' in executive leadership roles, and a proven track record of leading large-scale engineering organizations. A strong background in enterprise architecture, system design, and modern retail technology platforms is essential. The role requires the ability to partner with senior business leaders, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a focus on driving technology strategies that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes. The SVP will be expected to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, and to provide clear insights and recommendations to the CTO and executive leadership team.
