About the Role
The company is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources and Operations to become a pivotal part of our leadership team. This strategic role will involve crafting and executing HR strategies that resonate with our mission and vision. You will lead talent management initiatives, ensure effective and compliant HR systems, and cultivate a positive organizational culture.
You will oversee essential HR operations and total rewards management while playing a vital role in employee engagement and communication efforts. We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree and senior-level HR certification are highly preferred. A minimum of 10 years of HR experience is required, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a history of strategic HR leadership, HRIS system implementation, and success in performance management and professional development.
Familiarity with California labor laws and experience in the nonprofit sector or mission-driven organizations are advantageous. We need a proactive leader, skilled in problem-solving, with outstanding communication abilities and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. A passion for our mission and a drive to foster a people-centered organization are essential.
