Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
to oversee safety and environmental programs across two key U.S. production sites — located in
North Carolina
and
New Jersey . This is a hands-on leadership role with high visibility, supporting a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across a growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing EHS management, a passion for developing proactive safety programs, and the ability to lead both strategic initiatives and day-to-day plant floor activities. Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with
OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
standards across both facilities. Develop, implement, and continuously improve
safety and environmental policies, procedures, and training programs. Conduct regular
audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations , driving corrective and preventive actions. Foster a strong
5S and safety-first culture
through training, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee environmental programs including
waste management, emissions reduction, and sustainability efforts. Lead and train teams on
emergency response , spill containment, and evacuation procedures. Collaborate cross-functionally with plant management to integrate EHS and 5S principles into all operations. Maintain and analyze EHS performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5–7 years
of EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of
OSHA and EPA regulations
and related compliance programs. Proven experience implementing
ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
standards. CSP, CIH, or ARM certification
preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
is a plus. Ability to travel regularly between NC and NJ locations. Why Join Us
