ONLY W2/1099 CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED: SAP HR Modules Technical Support Engineer Location:

Columbia, SC . Hybrid work arrangement: 4 days onsite per week. Candidate MUST relocate to SC.

Compensation:

$91/hr on 1099

or

$84/hr on W2 .

Overview Beechwood Computing Ltd is seeking a SAP HR Modules Technical Support Engineer with hands-on experience in SAP HR modules to join a hybrid project in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

Hands-on experience with SAP ECC (SCEIS) HR modules, including system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting to optimize SAP HR system workflows to support automation and reduce manual processes.

Ensure alignment with state HR/payroll processes, data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, FLSA), and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Perform data validation, integrity monitoring, and issue resolution across HR systems.

Develop advanced reports and dashboards using SAP tools, Excel, and Power BI.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office products and collaborative tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).

Manage role-based access control (RBAC) and position-driven system access configuration.

Model and implement root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions for issues.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills (ranked):

Hands-on SAP ECC (SCEIS) HR modules configuration, testing, and troubleshooting; knowledge of state HR/payroll processes and regulatory compliance; data validation and issue resolution; advanced reporting with SAP tools, Excel, and Power BI; proficiency with Office and collaboration tools; experience with RBAC and access configuration; strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis.

Preferred Skills (ranked):

Industry-standard information security practices; strong written and verbal communication; understanding of IT development and implementation projects; ability to create and maintain technical documentation (configuration records, SOPs, user guides); familiarity with NIST 800-53, FISMA, and SC InfoSec policies.
