Overview
Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. You help shape a member’s shopping experience by giving a positive first and last impression. You are responsible for maintaining a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This role requires being on your feet and on the go, while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. Responsibilities
Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following company standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management. Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment per company procedures. Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program. Maintains appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, ensuring rotation and proper storage, and placing orders to replenish supplies when low. Supports benefits and culture initiatives as described by company programs and internal communications. What you’ll do
Follow safety standards and procedures; conduct safety sweeps; handle and dispose of hazardous materials; follow forklift spotting procedures; follow company guidelines; correct and report unsafe conditions. Clean facilities areas including floors, restrooms, windows, and trash receptacles using approved methods and supplies. Maintain a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates; respond to spills; operate floor scrubbers; manage disposal of recyclable materials per program guidelines. Monitor and manage chemical and supply levels; rotate and store chemicals properly; place replenishment orders as needed. Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr. The actual pay is based on skills and experience; discuss with recruiter for details. Health benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage.
