Performs semi-skilled golf course grounds and facility maintenance. Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year of closely related experience or the equivalent. A valid Driver's License issued by the State of Utah is required to drive County vehicles. Essential Functions
Performs general golf course maintenance such as snow removal, tree and shrub maintenance, cleaning, water hazard and sand trap maintenance, and cup changing procedures. Maintains turf, through grass seeding, sod installation, mowing, aerating, top dressing and fertilizing greens, tees, roughs, and fairways. Programs, diagnoses, adjusts, and repairs automated irrigation systems, weather stations, and other equipment as needed. Performs appropriate trade work, such as painting, carpentry, electrical, and concrete finishing. Operates a variety of specialized equipment. Compiles, updates, and maintains pertinent records of equipment, tools, and supplies. Routinely monitors existing golf course conditions. Evaluates and tests the playability of the golf course. This position requires extensive physical labor: lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects up to 75 pounds; kneeling, bending, stooping, crawling, shoveling, reaching; sitting for extended periods. Work is exposed to extreme weather, dirt, dust, heat and cold, fumes, and/or loud noises. Work is occasionally performed in confined spaces. Seniority level
