The merchandising & stocking associate role involves keeping products organized and accessible for members, stocking shelves, unloading trucks, and assisting members and fellow associates. The position can be physically demanding and may include tasks such as backroom inventory, club pick-up orders, and customer service. The role supports the team goal of helping members find more of what they love, for less. Responsibilities
Promptly unloading trucks Assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area Ensuring club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policy and procedures What you’ll do
Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; assisting with self-service technology; guiding purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving issues; and promoting products and services Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety checks, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning, stocking, organizing, cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and identifying shrink Monitors product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; ensures prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise Follows company policies and ethics, and applies Open Door Policy in business processes Completes work by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and coworkers, and adapting to changes Supports club pick up operations by picking and staging orders as needed Benefits
