Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $26.00/hr This merchandising & stocking associate role involves keeping things neat and organized so members can find items on their shopping list. Responsibilities may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, stocking shelves, and assisting members. The role can be physically demanding and fast-paced, with activities such as unloading trucks in the summer and stocking ice cream in freezers. Responsibilities
Promptly unloading trucks Assisting fellow associates throughout the store as needed Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area Filling club pick up orders and staging according to policy What you’ll do
Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving issues; and promoting company products and services. Maintains facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions. Maintains sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning the area, stocking and arranging merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, pricing items, identifying shrink and damages, and securing fragile and high-shink merchandise. Monitors product quality through rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation, and ensures promotions and seasonal displays are visible. Adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethics; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in business processes. Completes tasks by prioritizing with managers and teammates, communicating progress, and adapting to changes. Ensures club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy.
