Emerging Markets Growth Account Executive (Mandarin)
Toast is seeking an Emerging Markets Growth Account Executive (Mandarin) to drive expansion and product adoption among Toast POS customers in emerging markets. This role is primarily remote with occasional field time in your assigned territory. Responsibilities
Manage the full sales cycle for customer expansion within your assigned territory, identifying and closing upsell opportunities among existing Toast POS customers, from outbound prospecting to contract negotiation and final close in the customer's preferred language. Conduct deep discovery using consultative selling to uncover customer pain points and goals, presenting Toast offerings in the customer's language. Achieve quota attainment by meeting/exceeding monthly revenue and unit targets. Execute pipeline management using Salesforce CRM and other tools. Demonstrate market and product expertise, understanding the competitive landscape and articulating Toast's value. Collaborate with New Business, Services, and Implementation teams to ensure onboarding and post-sale success. Apply strategic sales methodologies to uncover urgency and create compelling propositions. Your Mandarin skills will be used to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers; English will be used for internal communication. The interview process is conducted primarily in English. Requirements
Fluency in English and Mandarin (oral and written) is required. 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in a closing role with a track record of meeting goals. Experience in high-velocity, transactional B2B SaaS sales. Full-cycle sales expertise: discovery, storytelling, negotiation, closing. Consultative approach with ability to act as a strategic advisor. Growth and ownership mindset; self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and organization. Adaptability in a dynamic sales environment. Nice to Have
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM. Experience with Sandler or similar methodologies. Prior B2B sales in SMB, restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors. Compensation and Benefits
The estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range is $118,000 — $189,000 USD, with base salary, commissions, benefits, and equity where eligible.
