$20.00/hr - $28.00/hr Position Summary
What you’ll do includes assisting management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback; training associates on processes and procedures; providing direction and guidance on member service approaches to resolve member complaints per company guidelines; ensuring policy compliance; supporting the Open Door Policy; and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. You will also: provide information on membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members; process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encourage renewals; participate in sales and marketing events; maintain marketing recaps and required documentation; strive to meet membership goals; promote the value of Sam’s Club products and services. Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; guide on self‑service technology; assist with transactions using registers or self‑checkout; ensure club pick up orders are filled. Oversee the assigned area by handling claims and returns; organize merchandise; identify shrink and damages; maintain availability of carts/flatbeds; assist members with item transport; use cart retrieval equipment; maintain parking lot cleanliness. Complete accounting records, files, transactions, and other documentation by following procedures; manage funds for register operation; create and interpret financial reports; assist with investigations; prepare daily deposits; oversee cash fund transfers; investigate cash variances; protect confidentiality and accuracy of financial and personal information. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; analyze information, monitor progress, and address improvement opportunities. Demonstrate and support compliance with company policies and ethics; apply policies in business processes; use the Open Door Policy; assist management with correcting ethical issues. Lead and participate in teams by coordinating work, identifying customer needs and priorities, providing feedback, and modeling adaptability to change. - 6 months retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) AND 6 months customer service experience; must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications
