Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in Government and other industries as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting the government sector. You will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, deter security-related incidents, maintain a secure environment, conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with individuals on site, providing customer service and communication. This is an armed position with responsibilities to support security needs at the assigned location. What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities. Monitor access points and assist with enforcing site policies and procedures. Report suspicious activities and security-related breaches per established protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents. Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, activities, and incidents. Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies specific to a government location. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3 years combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related roles, or possess a college degree. An Armed Guard Card or license is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Baton certification is preferred. Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
