About the Role
Our company is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of Accounting to guide our finance team. The VP will be pivotal in overseeing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, technical accounting, IT automation, tax, and regulatory compliance. This role is designed for a strategic partner who enjoys collaborating with the CFO and CEO to enhance business success and financial management quality. A successful candidate will possess a robust technical accounting background, extensive experience within a high-growth tech environment, and a proven ability to manage large-scale finance and accounting operations.
Major Responsibilities:
Lead global accounting practices
Support cash management
Prepare SEC filings
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
The ideal person for this role will demonstrate inspirational leadership, excel in building high-performance teams, and have a solid executive presence to communicate effectively at all levels. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with CPA, CMA, or CIA certification required. With a minimum of 20 years of accounting experience, including 7 years in executive leadership, this position calls for a leader with humility and confidence, skilled in detailed management while also mentoring substantial teams. Experience related to M&A activities, including due diligence and accounting matters, is highly desirable.
