Join our team as a Retail Store Associate, a vital role in enhancing our customer's shopping experience and supporting the success of our retail operations. In this position, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about our wide range of Sherwin-Williams products, and provide the best solutions tailored to their requirements.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining excellent service standards while helping to achieve the store's sales goals. You will also stay informed about product features and keep the store visually appealing and organized.
Located at 14236 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126, your role will also involve:
Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance satisfaction.
Interacting with customers both in-store and over the phone, assessing their needs, and recommending suitable products and services.
Building strong, trusting relationships with our customers.
Accurately processing transactions while adhering to company policies.
Meeting and exceeding sales targets regularly.
Maintaining precise records and handling work orders.
Pulling products from inventory and assisting with product mixing and tinting as needed.
Organizing store displays and keeping the sales floor well-stocked and clean.
Supporting inventory management by complying with control procedures and assisting with deliveries as necessary.
Contributing ideas for improving sales and operational efficiencies.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must have legal authorization to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
At least one (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
Experience in selling paint or related products.
Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
