Retail Store Associate

This PART-TIME position is vital to the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Store Associate, you will engage closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer their queries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions to enhance their experience. In this role, you are expected to swiftly resolve customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and maintaining high quality and visual standards within the store. Your ultimate goal is to deliver exceptional customer service while consistently helping to achieve the store's sales targets. The individual selected for this role will be required to work at stores within a 10-mile radius of Store #724354, located at: 1300 Gulf Shores Pkwy, Gulf Shores, AL 36542. Responsibilities include: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Assisting customers both in-person and over the phone by identifying their needs and suggesting appropriate products and services. Building productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately processing sales transactions in line with company policies and procedures. Meeting and exceeding sales goals consistently. Maintaining thorough work order files and product formulas. Retrieving items from the sales floor or warehouse as required. Tinting and mixing products according to customer specifications. Restocking shelves and setting up attractive displays. Cleaning store equipment and keeping the workspace tidy. Loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed. Providing assistance with deliveries when necessary. Keeping designated areas in stock and visually appealing. Staying knowledgeable about product offerings to discuss available options with customers. Adhering to inventory control protocols. Suggesting improvements to enhance sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future. Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Must have the ability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks, and frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 70 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role. Prior experience selling paint and related products. Experience with tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate in more than one language. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
