Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency
Manage the entire procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and understand their purchasing needs
Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Monitor market trends and identify potential suppliers and products
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules
Lead and motivate a team of purchasing professionals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Proficient in using procurement software and systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Leadership and team management skills
