New Jersey’s academic health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) takes an integrated approach to educating students, providing clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of improving human health. RBHS aligns with Rutgers University–New Brunswick and collaborates university-wide. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I for the department of Pediatrics at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The CRC works closely with the Pediatric Department Chair (Principal Investigator or PI) and is responsible for a broad range of research activities related to infections and cancers after solid organ transplantation. The PI is transferring NIH-funded grants to Rutgers (including the UNEARTH and CISTEM2 studies) and has new projects to be initiated at Rutgers or other sites. The CRC will assist with study implementation and conduct, including study creation, contracting, ethics and other approvals, protocol-directed recruitment/consenting, study procedures, sample collection and processing, data management and quality control across sites, including the Rutgers-RWJMS site. The CRC will help ensure protocol training of staff and support development of standard operating procedures and logistics at Rutgers and other sites. Responsibilities

Work with the Pediatric Department Principal Investigator to coordinate clinical research activities where the PI is either the Principal Investigator or a site investigator. Coordinate and assist with carrying out studies per the protocols. Coordinate study procedures to identify and consent available subjects, maintain consistent procedures and documentation; collect and manage study samples; contribute to data collection and data interpretation. Ensure staff Health and Safety Training and Continuing Education Records are current. Assist in developing plans for research projects, interpret results, and collaborate on manuscripts and grant proposals; assist in protocol amendments and study design modifications as appropriate. Work with study monitors for data queries and site visits. Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Human Health, Public Health, Nursing, or a relevant science field plus 3 years’ experience in clinical research coordination. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Understanding of OHRP, HIPAA regulations, and GCP guidelines. Ability to make independent decisions and manage multiple tasks. Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands and Work Environment: Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing; no special vision requirements. Office environment with moderate noise. Compensation and Benefits

FLSA Exempt • Grade 25S Salary Details: Minimum 71,162; Mid Range 85,428; Maximum 101,456.
