Travel Job Title Registered Nurse - PICU Location Charlottesville, VA Schedule / Job Type 13-week contract, nights shift, 3 shifts per week, rotating schedule Key Responsibilities Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU setting Conduct clinical reviews and monitor patient conditions, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans Document patient status, treatments, and medical procedures accurately Support families and provide education regarding patient care and treatment plans Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as scheduled Required Qualifications Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia (VA) or pending licensure eligibility BLS and PALS certification required Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience; 2+ years preferred Pediatric cardiac experience highly preferred Preferred Experience / Skills Strong clinical review skills in a pediatric intensive care setting Ability to work rotating night shifts and handle a fast-paced environment. $2344 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
