Early Career Service Life Analysis Aeronautical Engineer

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Service Life Analysis Aeronautical Engineer. In this role, you will conduct durability and damage tolerance analysis and provide the products and source data to safely and economically manage the fleet through its entire life cycle. You will develop, document, and deliver relevant force management products and perform structural analysis in support of drawing releases for new designs, approved engineering changes, production issues, and affordability‑driven changes. Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance and a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering; Civil Engineers will also be considered. Applicable coursework related to structures/solids, stress calculations, structural design projects, or material properties. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desired Skills

Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, VBA, Visual Studio, or Python. Experience with CAD or CAE applications. Previous internship/co‑op experience within the Aerospace industry. Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Security Clearance Statement:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from a standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office in addition to Paid Time Off benefits. Schedule for this position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
