Experienced U.S. Immigration Paralegal (2–3 Years Experience)

About Us:
We are an international law firm with a U.S. Immigration practice serving high-net-worth individuals, multinational executives, entrepreneurs, and extraordinary-ability talent. We manage complex filings including EB-5, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, E-2, P-1/O-1 athletes and artists, and corporate immigration matters out of our Coral Gables office.
This is not an entry-level paralegal position. We are seeking someone who already knows how to draft petitions, analyze evidence, and manage cases with minimal training.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently prepare petition drafts, cover letters, exhibits, and supporting evidence for EB-5, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, EB-5, E-2, O-1, P-1, H-1B, and related filings
Conduct detailed legal + factual research (USCIS Policy Manual, INA, CFR, DOL/SEVIS/NVC procedures, etc.)
Draft RFEs and client instructions with strong command of USCIS adjudication standards
Communicate directly with clients to collect evidence and provide case updates
Review and analyze client documents for eligibility and strategy discussions
Track deadlines through USCIS, NVC, and consular processes, including dependents and follow-up stages
Contribute to internal improvements (template updates, SOPs, evidence checklists, intake systems, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of hands‑on experience preparing employment‑ or investment‑based U.S. immigration filings (not family‑based only)
Ability to independently draft full petition packages, not just forms or admin support
Strong legal writing skills – including drafting cover letters, support letters, and RFEs
Familiarity with proving prongs/criteria under EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1 standards
Fluent in Spanish (written + spoken)
Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment without micromanagement
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a boutique law firm environment
Ability to bring fresh ideas to optimize departmental workflows and reduce inefficiencies
Compensation & Benefits:
