Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Supply Chain Clerk to join our Parts team in supporting our maintenance departments. This role is responsible for maintaining and tracking the supply of parts, tools, and materials needed to keep aircraft operations running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation products and terms, with a strong attention to detail, organization, and administrative skills to support maintenance operations in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain accurate and detailed records and invoices of supplies
Coordinate the beginning to end cycle of company supplies; includes but not limited to purchasing, tracking, deliveries, and recordkeeping
Report on reporting discrepancies and ensure purchasing records are submitted timely and legibly
Create and maintain meaningful relationship with vendors
Coordinate and complete recurring pickups as needed
Maintain purchase orders and communicate frequently with vendors
Assist with developing and implementing strategies to more efficient and cost-effective processes and handling of supplies
Coordinate maintenance requests with designated vendors as needed
Work with other departments to assist with overall supply needs
Assist and handle urgent supply issues that may arise, utilizing available resources to provide solution-focused results and seeking assistance if needed
Analyze and provide in-depth research on current pricing/quotes and new vendors
Present supply updates to MX team meetings
Effectively and safely operate a forklift
Qualifications Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
No special licenses or certificates required
2-3 years of experience in aviation. Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
General aviation product support experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
Proficient in basic math and budget management skills
Thorough understanding of aviation products and terms
Thorough understanding of company’s current products, developments and practices

Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Corridor, and standard aviation software
Certifications, Licenses, & Badging
Ability to attain Love Field Badge
Valid Driver's License
Work Environment & Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to various weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to loud noise levels in and around their work environment. The physical demands regularly required are to sit for extended periods of time, squat, crawl, climb along with the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Daily interaction with vendors where tact and consideration are mandatory while maintaining a team effort in customer service. Business Jet is an IS-BAO Stage III Certified Operator with FAA Approved SMS/ASAP Programs.
Additional Demands May need to travel to pick up parts directly from vendors occasionally.
