Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)

Estimated Weekly Salary:

$2000-$2050

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or compact state

Minimum 4 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience

Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred

BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred

Proven experience circulating diverse surgical cases, including trauma

Epic charting experience required

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Ability to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed

1 reference from a charge nurse or supervisor required at submission

Local travelers within 75 miles not accepted

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Circulate and assist in a variety of surgical procedures: trauma, transplants, oncology, cardiac, neuro, ortho, GYN, urology, plastics, ENT, and more

Deliver high-quality, safe patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more

Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens; adhere to universal protocols

Utilize advanced surgical equipment such as Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, lasers, and cell savers

Participate in trauma and emergency response as needed

Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times

Complete required orientation and ongoing competency modules
