Cumar is hiring a Bookkeeper who enjoys accurate work, steady ownership, and close collaboration with operations. You will handle core accounting with a small, supportive team in office. What You Will Be Doing
Accounts Payable:
enter and code bills, manage approvals, schedule payments, maintain vendor records Accounts Receivable:
generate invoices, apply cash receipts, monitor aging, coordinate follow ups with project leaders General Ledger:
post journal entries, support month-end close, reconcile bank and credit card statements Credit Cards and Bill Payments:
process payments, maintain documentation, track spend by project or department Insurance and Compliance:
coordinate insurance purchasing or COIs for specified jobs and keep records organized Process Improvement:
keep SOPs current and suggest refinements that improve accuracy and speed
What You Bring
Solid bookkeeping experience handling AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliations Proficiency with accounting software and strong Excel skills Background in construction or manufacturing is preferred, not required Clear communication, high attention to detail, and reliable follow through Comfort working 100% on site and partnering with a small team
