- Be part of making an impact in public health alongside dedicated people just like you The Northeast Health District is seeking an experienced and passionate HIV Prevention Coordinator to lead and manage the District's HIV Prevention and PrEP Programs in alignment with state and federal grant deliverables. This position will play a key role in expanding HIV prevention efforts, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring individuals at highest risk have access to testing, education, and care. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and program management skills.

As an HIV Linkage/Prevention Manager within the Northeast Health District at the Georgia Department of Public Health, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways Job Responsibilities

Oversee all HIV Prevention and PrEP program grant deliverables, including monthly and quarterly reporting. Supervise and support program staff to ensure effective case management, linkage, and navigation services. Plan and direct outreach activities, testing events, PrEP referrals, and linkage to care. Manage program budgets and ensure timely, appropriate expenditures. Develop and maintain formal partnerships with community-based organizations. Expand PrEP services across the District's 10 counties. Evaluate HIV epidemiologic and program data to guide priorities and activities. Collaborate closely with Epidemiology and Surveillance to coordinate partner services. Provide education and technical guidance to internal teams, community partners, and healthcare providers. Promote a strong team culture and high-performance environment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations. Lead special projects and other duties as needed to support program goals. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience performing work related to area of assignment; or six (6) years of experience performing work related to area of assignment; or Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. Note: Some positions may require licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in public health program management, preferably in HIV prevention or lrelated fields. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to analyze data and apply findings to program strategy. Experience managing grants and budgets. Familiarity with community engagement and partnership development.
