AEMI is seeking a

Director of Quality

to lead its Quality Assurance (QA) team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of AEMI’s high‑reliability electronic components. The Director will manage the Quality Management System (QMS), drive continuous improvement, and collaborate cross‑functionally to uphold AEMI’s commitment to excellence in mission‑critical applications across aerospace, defense, industrial, and automotive sectors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage AEMI’s Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100 and MIL-STD-790, ensuring alignment with customer and regulatory requirements. Drive strategic quality initiatives across the organization, including process improvement, corrective/preventive actions, and waste reduction using data‑driven methodologies. Oversee supplier quality programs, including supplier qualification, audits, and performance monitoring to ensure consistent quality of incoming materials. Direct internal and external audit programs, ensuring timely resolution of findings and continuous improvement of quality processes. Guide technical quality functions, including Failure Analysis, DPA lab operations, and test equipment planning to support product screening and qualification. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Product Line Managers to ensure product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Benefits Of Working With Our Team

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field 10+ years of experience in QA and manufacturing environments Proven leadership of high‑performing quality teams Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA Deep understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 and MIL-STD-790 requirements Ability to interpret technical drawings, military/industry standards, and customer documentation Familiarity with electrical component characteristics and associated test methods Equal Employment Opportunity
