aerospace and defense sector

in their search for an experienced

Senior Quality Manager . This is a critical leadership opportunity for a driven professional who thrives on building strong teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. About the Role As the

Quality Manager , you’ll be the driving force behind all site quality initiatives, overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS), regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and product integrity throughout the entire lifecycle—from new product development through production, supply chain, and product support. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape quality strategy, lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor a talented team. The ideal candidate is a proven quality leader with exceptional communication skills, a sense of urgency, and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Lead the site’s Quality organization, ensuring compliance with

AS9100

and maintaining excellence across all quality systems. Drive

Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)

and

AS9145

activities throughout product development and new product introduction. Manage supplier quality performance — from selection and qualification through ongoing monitoring and improvement. Develop and execute AS9145 Core Tools plans to identify and mitigate risk (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC). Ensure measurement and monitoring systems are optimized to achieve key site and process performance goals. Design and implement a quality structure that aligns with long-term business strategy and growth initiatives. Establish data-driven systems to analyze trends, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance product quality. Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for customer complaints and field reliability issues. Oversee inspection and compliance for all program hardware to

J-STD-001

and

IPC-610

standards. Qualifications

5+ years of quality assurance experience in

aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics

(automotive experience a plus) 5+ years of

management or leadership experience Hands-on experience with

new product introduction (NPI)

and

advanced product quality planning Knowledge of

IPC-610 Class 3 ,

IPC J-STD-001 , and

MIL-PRF-38534 Hybrid Electronics

manufacturing standards Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred; Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical considered) Ability to obtain access to

U.S. export-controlled information

(ITAR compliance required). Must be a US Person. Preferred

Strong experience with

APQP tools

(Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC) AS9100 Auditor ,

Six Sigma Black Belt , or

ASQ CQM/CQE

certification Experience implementing

Lean and Six Sigma methodologies Seniority level
