What To Expect
We are seeking a skilled architectural designer with strong creative design and visualization background to support the Creative Design team. This role is responsible for creating design concepts and leading the visualization of people space projects from concept to final presentation. You will be a hands‑on creative designer ensuring that architectural proposals meet Tesla design standards. The ideal candidate will be a multidisciplinary problem solver with practical experience in space planning, rendering, graphic design, FF&E and concept packages.
What You’ll Do
Maintain space planning team design process workflow
Develop design efforts for infrastructure and Workplace development from concept to delivery to meet our aggressive goals
Work in a fast‑paced environment
Collaborate in feasibility studies, develop test fits and FF&E packages
Develop design concepts and pricing packages. Translate design briefs and architectural plans into detailed 3D models and visually compelling presentations
Post‑production editing to refine rendered imagery
Build and maintain strong relationships with the various cross‑functional teams to ensure overall program alignment
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or the equivalent in experience, with experience collaborating multidisciplinary projects within A/E firms; 5+ years of experience is preferred
Strong technical skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite & Powerpoint
Ability to produce 3D visualizations and renders
Understanding of all engineering disciplines
Proven record in delivery of IFP and IFC packages
Experience designing Workplace, Space Planning
Ability to effectively execute many projects and tasks in parallel
Excellent communication and documentation skills with ability to understand complex problems and distill the message into a clear plan

Expected Compensation
$92,000 – $150,000 per annum salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay may vary depending on market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation package may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
