Atlanta, Georgia Job Summary
Trileaf is seeking a FULL-TIME Senior Environmental Project Scientist with at least 2 years of field experience conducting environmental due diligence work on telecommunications and/or commercial real estate projects, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II ESAs, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Review Reports, and/or migratory bird evaluations. This position is based in our Atlanta, Georgia office.
Candidates will work on-site. Responsibilities
Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site Conducting interviews, in person, via email, and phone Performing regulatory agency file reviews Ordering & analyzing government database records Reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs) Conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air Compare analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards Drafting a standardized report using information from these various sources Completing requested revisions & submitting report within pre-established timelines Basic Qualifications
