Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Component Manufacturing Manager to lead the production of precision components for an industrial manufacturing project within the nuclear sector. This role is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of critical parts with ultra-tight tolerances, ensuring compliance with nuclear industry standards, and driving operational excellence across machining, fabrication, and inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage component manufacturing operations for complex systems, ensuring delivery of high-precision parts Oversee machining, fabrication, and finishing processes with tolerances down to the micron or nanometer level Develop and implement production schedules, resource plans, and quality controls to meet project milestones Ensure compliance with NQA-1, ASME, and ISO standards, as well as DOE/NRC regulations Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and procurement teams to resolve manufacturing challenges Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, cost reduction, and defect prevention Manage and mentor manufacturing technicians and supervisors Maintain documentation for process controls, inspections, and regulatory audits Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field 7+ years of experience in precision component manufacturing, preferably in the nuclear or aerospace industries Proven leadership in managing high-tolerance machining and fabrication operations Strong understanding of GD&T, CNC programming, and metrology tools Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications

Experience with complex systems or precision rotating equipment Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification Advanced degree or PMP certification Experience supporting DOE or NRC-regulated projects Other Job Requirements:

United States Citizenship Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security clearance. Active clearance is a plus.
