Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic (Night Shift)
Pay: $26 - $34
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician role requires proficiency in multiple skilled disciplines such as welding, fabrication, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, boiler, or HVAC. The technician should be able to weld and fabricate basic items for repairs, diagnose most problems using knowledge and troubleshooting techniques, and use a multimeter to diagnose electrical issues. Training Level 1 technicians in basic welding, electrical, or other skilled disciplines is also expected.
Responsibilities
Complete training in Troubleshooting Electrical Circuits, Control Circuits, Motor Circuits, Industrial Controls, and Industrial Controls 2.
Start up equipment and utilities and be proficient in production or utilities operations.
Operate the DAF system, conduct jar tests, and make chemical adjustments.
Demonstrate a self-motivated attitude and willingness to learn independently.
Contribute to continuous improvement and demonstrate responsibility.
Provide excellent customer service across departments.
Manage time efficiently and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including circuits and VFDs.
Understand and read electrical schematics and implement preventative measures during repairs.
Train and mentor Level 1 and 2 technicians.
Exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Essential Skills

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and operation
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Strong time management and customer service skills
