EHS Manager We’re partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing company in search of an
EHS Manager
to lead Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives at their
flagship production facility —the heartbeat of their operation where all products are made. This is a high‑impact role for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and build on the foundation of an evolving safety culture.
Job Description
Lead and implement comprehensive
Environmental, Health, and Safety programs
across the facility, with a proactive, people‑first approach.
Serve as the
site subject matter expert
on EHS matters, including OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and corporate safety initiatives.
Manage and maintain regulatory compliance programs including injury prevention, chemical safety, hazard communication, and waste management.
Lead incident investigations and corrective actions, identifying root causes and creating practical safety solutions.
Drive training and engagement programs to ensure understanding and adherence to EHS policies at all levels.
Partner with cross‑functional leaders in operations, HR, maintenance, and quality to integrate safety into every process.
For one site: oversee
ammonia safety and PSM (Process Safety Management)
programs and emergency response plans.
Regularly interface with regulatory agencies and corporate teams during audits or inspections.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of EHS leadership in a manufacturing or food/beverage production environment.
Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations; strong track record of compliance and risk mitigation.
Experience with ammonia‑based refrigeration systems is highly preferred for one location.
Strong communicator with the ability to lead teams, influence change, and drive continuous improvement.
Comfortable wearing a hard hat and safety boots—this is a
boots‑on‑the‑ground
leadership role.
