Adtalem Global Education . This position is located in Maui, Hawaii, and is part of Chamberlain College of Nursing, a regionally‑accredited school offering a comprehensive range of nursing programs. Teaching will be conducted onsite in the clinical setting with a partner clinic. The typical schedule includes 12‑hour rotations, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., for three to four consecutive days. The course focuses on family‑centered approaches to maternal and newborn care, health promotion, and wellness, with an emphasis on clinical experience across diverse populations. Responsibilities Implement the College’s philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service. Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments. Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students. Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students based on course objectives. Provide remediation for students as required. Stay current with agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations. Develop and post written clinical assignments aligned with student learning needs. Grade homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner. Assist with didactic course content under supervision of the course coordinator. Maintain communication with the course coordinator regarding student and agency issues. Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the College’s programs. Collaborate with college administration, staff, and other faculty to improve college operations and student satisfaction. Support the Campus Assessment Program, retention efforts, and departmental policies. Model professionalism, customer service, collaboration, and communication among faculty, staff, and students. Qualifications A master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution. An unencumbered professional nursing license in Hawaii. At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in nursing instruction. Teaching or precepting experience preferred, but not required. Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning. Exceptional subject matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong commitment to serve students and colleagues with respect and care. Professional responsibility and community engagement. IL nursing license required before accepting any clinical contract for a given session. Compensation The expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment and $7,245 per assignment.
