Leasing Consultant – Downtown Miami High-Rise

TRG Management Company, a premier property management firm managing over 20,000 units across multiple states, is actively seeking a Leasing Consultant for our newest high‑rise property in downtown Miami. This role collaborates directly with the property management team to provide residents with exceptional service. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Interview prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing Standards. Accompany potential tenants to model apartments to explain size and layout, available amenities and services, and lease terms. Fill out lease forms or agreements and collect the security deposit. Periodically inspect the state of the property and make arrangements for essential maintenance. Compile a list of available rental units. Identify potential prospects. Manage the leasing/renewal process from start to finish. Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with residents. Answer calls and voicemails professionally and promptly. Request prospects to fill out applications and make deposits following company policies and Fair Housing regulations. Process applications for approvals and update the availability report (e.g., credit check, rental history), then submit completed applications for approval to the Property Manager and follow up with the candidate. Ensure the apartment is ready for move‑in on the scheduled date. Follow up with prospects who did not close and attempt to close the business; if unable, direct them to a sister community that can meet their needs. Monitor local market trends and update property comparables to stay aware of competitors. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred). At least 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, conventional or multifamily real estate. Previous leasing experience is a plus, not required. A strong customer service orientation and presenting abilities. Working experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience as a concierge, guest services representative, front‑desk attendant, or reservations agent in the hotel or hospitality industry is a bonus. Onesite experience is a plus.
