What You’ll Do
Develop scalable numerical algorithms for finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics
Translate research into production-ready features for a commercial product
Research and prototype cutting-edge methods from academic literature
Debug complex numerical and geometric edge cases in real customer models
Explore opportunities to integrate machine learning with physics-based simulation for speed and automation
Collaborate with product managers and application engineers to ship useful, usable features
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience developing numerical algorithms in C++ (finite element, finite volume, or similar)
Experience with computational geometry and meshing algorithms
Published research in computational mechanics, applied math, or related fields
Master’s or Ph.D. in mathematics, computer science, or engineering preferred
Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to engineering or simulation workflows
Legally authorized to work in the US
A product mindset: thoughtful about performance, edge cases, and user experience
Bonus Points For
Experience scaling algorithms for large simulations
Background in GPU computing or parallel algorithms
Familiarity with geometry kernels, CAD, or preprocessing pipelines
Prior work at a simulation software company
