Responsibilities

Highly motivated, qualified and client service-oriented Project Architect/Project Manager with public and private sector experience in markets including Commercial, Municipal, K-12, Higher Education, Transit/transportation facilities, and Industrial.

Independently contribute design, production, and architectural detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Coordinate and manage projects across architecture and other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.

Responsible for business development strategy, research new market opportunities, generate letter of interests and proposals.

Grow the company's market presence in the architectural sector through identifying opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and leveraging industry knowledge to gain a competitive advantage.

Attend industry events, conferences, and local community gatherings to meet potential clients, collaborators, and influencers.

Develop, review, and approve design reports, cost estimates, specifications, and construction documents.

Facilitate integration of sustainable design strategies into design solutions.

Interact, communicate, and collaborate effectively with design team members, clients and other agencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.

Registered Architect in Wisconsin, NCARB preferred but not required.

10+ years of relevant experience.

5+ years of project management experience.

Multidisciplinary experience in any or all of the following markets: Commercial, Municipal, K-12, Higher Education, Transit/transportation facilities, and Industrial.

Experience preparing Requests for Proposals, Letters of Interests, and Statements of Qualifications.

Proven success in developing new clients and maintaining strong client relationships.

Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality and attention to detail.

Strong knowledge of local and national building codes, standards, and regulations.

Construction Administration experience including knowledge of construction contracts, construction types, and building systems.

Excellent communication, time management skills.

Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Sketch-Up, and other modeling and rendering software.

Commitment to challenging yourself to constantly improve and keep learning.

Team player willing to accept a full range of responsibilities.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with public project delivery process.

Project Management training is preferred.
