What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage a minimum of 30 Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) and Area Sales Managers
Develop and foster relationships with referral sources to drive mortgage loan sales
Recruit, hire, and train new loan officers while cultivating a sales-focused environment
Monitor team production and manage performance improvement plans for underperformers
Facilitate the development of business plans with MLOs and hold regular reviews to achieve sales objectives
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 5-7 years of residential mortgage sales experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent; four-year college degree preferred
In‑depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio guidelines
3-5 years of mortgage management experience preferred
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience with mortgage origination systems and automated decisioning tools
Ability to motivate teams and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
In‑depth knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending
Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong desire to excel in a competitive environment
Proven teamwork and customer service skills
