Human Resources Manager – Investment Company

Industry: Investment Management / Financial Services. Based: Copenhagen, Denmark. Salary level: approximately DKK1.2million per annum. About the Role:

As Human Resources Manager, you will take full ownership of human capital development within an established investment management firm, working closely with the executive leadership to align HR practices with the business's financial objectives and regulatory obligations. You will act as the key partner to department heads and senior analysts, providing advisory and hands‑on support in all areas of people management. This includes strategic workforce planning, succession development, policy refinement, and compensation frameworks tailored to the investment sector. You will be responsible for facilitating talent acquisition and onboarding of high‑calibre candidates, with a specific focus on financial specialists, risk analysts, economists and support functions. You will manage and update performance management processes, advise on bonus and equity schemes, and ensure competitive remuneration aligned with market expectations. You will lead internal reviews and prepare HR data insights for regulatory audits, board meetings and compliance assessments. Your responsibility also includes employment law compliance, workplace culture enhancement, and guiding management through complex HR situations. Profile:

You will hold a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Law, Organisational Psychology or Business Administration, and will bring at least seven years’ experience in a similar HR leadership role within asset management, banking or private equity. You will be familiar with HR issues specific to the financial sector, including bonus legislation, financial sector collective agreements, and EU remuneration directives. You will have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and a confident presence when advising at senior levels. You will be pragmatic, structured and resilient under pressure. You will possess solid financial acumen and a results‑oriented approach, able to develop HR strategies that both attract scarce talent and drive employee satisfaction. You will have experience with HRIS systems and digital onboarding tools, and a nuanced understanding of the link between organisational design, culture and business agility in regulated environments. Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

Comprehensive knowledge of Danish employment law and EU regulatory frameworks for investment professionals. Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters discreetly and effectively. High level of interpersonal intelligence, with experience managing diverse, cross‑functional teams. Ability to negotiate and draft employment contracts, develop internal HR policies, and support internal audits. Insight into global mobility, expatriate arrangements, and incentive programmes tailored to financial services. Languages:

Fluent in English and Danish. Additional Scandinavian or EU language proficiency will be seen as a benefit.
