We are looking for an Admissions Representative to join our team. This is a hybrid position with some on‑campus and some remote work.

Job Overview

Recruit qualified students for the college’s academic programs in a compliant, professional manner.

Provide basic information, routine guidance and assistance to prospective students on enrollment and admissions processes.

Evaluate and resolve student inquiries and ensure compliance with governmental regulations and accreditation standards.

Use company‑approved admissions materials during telephone calls, interviews and enrollment activities.

Observe all company policies and best practices and exercise judgment within defined procedures.

Building Relationships

Take inquiry calls from potential students and encourage qualified prospects to schedule an interview.

Return web inquiries and calls promptly with accurate program information.

Make outbound calls to prospective students that have expressed interest in attending the institution.

Participate in organized phone‑a‑thons and dialing campaigns according to company best practices.

Initiate unsolicited leads and generate new business when no responses are received.

Follow up on all inquiries that fail to schedule or show for an interview.

Follow up with interviews that did not progress in the enrollment process and dropped/cancelled students to resolve issues or address concerns.

Interviews

Schedule and conduct student interviews while ensuring compliance with financial aid policies.

Use only approved company materials during interviews and follow stated policies and processes.

Explain program offerings and match college benefits to the student’s needs, discussing suitable programs based on qualifications and objectives.

Ensure admissions management is informed about the student’s motivations and concerns about attending the college.

Mentoring and Guidance

Provide basic information and routine advice to students using established procedures and policies.

Act as a liaison between student and campus, facilitating enrollment forms and completing documentation as needed.

Mentor and advise students to help them identify their unique skills and interests.

Address easy questions or concerns and refer more complex issues to experienced staff, ensuring satisfactory action is taken.

Administrative Responsibilities

Accurately account for all inquiries and associated admissions activity.

Complete daily activity reports and keep required reports current and accurate.

Ensure all pre‑start paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.

Attend and complete all required training for the position.

Perform other duties as assigned by local leaders and attend meetings as directed by supervisor.

Pay Range $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience within for‑profit admissions.
