Tenure‑Track Assistant Professor of Psychology
Job opening for a Tenure‑Track Assistant Professor of Social Psychology (doctorate required). Position begins August 2026. Responsibilities
Teach courses in person, online, and blended modalities, with a teaching load of 21 credits per year. Engage in service activities as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement and department tenure guidelines. Develop and deliver curricula, including potential new courses. Participate in departmental and college activities, including mentoring first‑generation students. Required Qualifications
Doctorate in psychology or a related field. Experience in teaching in‑person, online, or multi‑modality formats. Evidence of teaching excellence (e.g., evaluations, teaching philosophy). Preferred Qualifications
Background in cognitive psychology. Ability to teach Memory & Cognition, Statistics, Advanced Social Psychology, or develop new courses. Experience working with first‑generation students. Benefits
