Essential Job Functions: Import, export, and validate data between the automated materials management system and Excel to maintain system accuracy and integrity. Perform timely and precise data entry, ensuring information consistency across systems. Prepare, generate, and distribute reports as requested by the Manager of Value Analysis and other stakeholders. Build and maintain manual system item, ensuring data accuracy and proper cross-system alignment. Collaborate with Accounts Payable to establish and maintain vendor records, enabling efficient purchase order and invoice processing. Support onboarding of new departments and practices by creating site-specific requisitioning templates. Maintain and troubleshoot EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) capabilities with vendors, including coordination with GHX (Global Healthcare Exchange). Serve as liaison between Supply Chain Management and Information Technology for issue resolution, testing, upgrades, and system optimization. Implement, train, and support users on the electronic ordering system and related supply chain applications. Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to system requisitioners and other end users. Participate as an active member of Value Analysis Committees, supporting data-driven decision-making. Conduct research on vendor and product data for inclusion in the automated materials management system. Assist with special projects and supply chain initiatives. Maintain confidentiality of hospital and purchasing information at all times. Demonstrate dependability through accurate, timely completion of assigned responsibilities. Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and service excellence in all interactions, reflecting the organization’s values on integrity, compassion, and commitment to customer service. Special Qualifications Four-year degree in a related field preferred. In addition, any combination of education, systems applications, and/or supply chain or related experience in a hospital setting will be considered. Knowledge of computer information systems required. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point preferred. Strong Excel skills required, including formulas, data sorting, and reporting functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
