Responsibilities
Develop and apply evaluation instruments and complex statistical analysis methodologies to determine and communicate the progress of learners and the effectiveness of educational programs.
Design and implement research for multiple interconnected education programs, such as early childhood, special education, and school support initiatives.
Provide consultation and professional advice to educational personnel, institutions, organizations, and policymakers through analytical reports, presentations, and engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) years of professional experience in data management, data analysis, and program evaluation.
Doctorate degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience; Master’s degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; Bachelor’s degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
Experience completing analyses using programming code (e.g., R, SQL, SAS, STATA, Python).
Experience providing technical assistance, training, or teaching about data analysis or using data for decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with PK‑12 data.
Experience using qualitative analysis techniques.
Experience completing program evaluations.
Familiarity with Minnesota’s accountability and school support system.
Familiarity with early childhood special education programming and data.
Experience using data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Additional Requirements
Job offer contingent upon successfully passing a background check, which includes: SEMA4 Records Check, Employment Reference Check, Conflict of Interest Review, Driver’s License Check, and Criminal Background Check.
